Welcome to our website.
The Sage Brush Artists were created when five accomplished oil painters, all with diverse backgrounds, met each other while painting "en plein air" and discovered that they all enjoyed the same type of painting experiences and more importantly, they all had the same sense of humor.
The amazing camaraderie that exists among them includes offering advice and motivation, traveling to sites throughout the Western U.S., sharing experiences and costs, entering competitions, participating as members of various painting organizations, and most of all, having fun. As a group, they paint together on a regular basis. |
As one member explained, "Working as a group, we exchange ideas and painting knowledge; if asked, we critique each others work and offer advice to make our paintings better; and bottom line, we enjoy being around each other -- it is a blast to laugh at the experiences we have and the situations we get into."
They continue to travel together, paint together, and exhibit their paintings together as the Sage Brush Artists.
